Full job description

Vistar Media, a global ad tech company specializing in digital out-of-home advertising, is seeking a Country Manager to grow its business in Brazil. The role involves developing and implementing sales and go-to-market strategies, localizing product offerings, managing sales performance, and building client and partner relationships. Candidates must have expert knowledge of programmatic advertising, extensive sales leadership experience (6+ years) in digital advertising, proven ability to build business and teams from scratch in Brazil, and strong communication skills in English and Portuguese. Responsibilities include pricing strategy, collaboration with agencies, contract negotiation, and representing the company at industry events.

What you'll do

  • Develop and implement a sales strategy to extract sales opportunities both with agencies/brands and media owners to position Vistar Media in the Brazilian market
  • Develop a pricing and proposition strategy
  • Localize the product offering and features
  • Keep track of key sales performance metrics and be accountable for the result
  • Implement a go-to-market strategy, manage and optimize a win-win collaboration with the trading departments of larger agencies
  • Inspire agencies with all that our proposition has to offer
  • Understand customers’ demand, develop concepts, calculations, and proposals for media owners, and manage the relationship with technology partners
  • Represent the company in assigned events and other sales activities such as trade shows, speeches, interviews, etc.

Requirements

  • Excellent understanding of digital advertising technology and trading; programmatic, mobile, audio, data, currency tracking, and attribution
  • Extensive experience in solutions sales in digital advertising and proven track record of building a business from scratch in Brazil
  • Demonstrable knowledge of OOH media and advertising, and a network of contacts across the industry in Brazil
  • Proven ability to build client relationships at all levels of seniority, demonstrating retention and growth strategies
  • Experience in negotiating contracts and trading agreements, and ensuring fulfillment of these deals
  • A strong network of direct clients and agencies
  • Experience building teams and regions from scratch
  • At least 6 years of experience in a sales leadership role with another programmatic platform
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Portuguese; Spanish a plus
