The Sr. Cloud Engineer will lead infrastructure initiatives, partnering with application teams to design, deploy, monitor, and maintain software systems in production. Responsibilities include building productivity tools, developing unified monitoring systems, designing scalable distributed systems, defining cloud infrastructure best practices, improving deployment processes, optimizing application performance and cloud costs, introducing AI into the SDLC, and participating in on-call rotations. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 5+ years as a software engineer, strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, cloud technologies (EC2, RDS, S3), programming skills in scripting and compiled languages, ability to work independently, and willingness to serve on-call.
