TripleLift is hiring a Cloud Engineer to lead infrastructure initiatives within Engineering, focusing on deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of production software systems. The role involves partnering with application teams to shape system architecture and modernize the tech stack including microservices and high-throughput transactional systems. Core technologies include Terraform, Terragrunt, ArgoCD, Helm, Kustomize, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, PagerDuty, Kubernetes, Nomad, Vault, Consul, Puppet, GitHub Actions, AeroSpike, RDS MySQL/Postgres, Kafka/RedPanda, Spark, dbt, Databricks, Snowflake, Fivetran, AWS EMR, Python, bash, Java, Golang, and AWS. Responsibilities include building productivity tools, developing unified monitoring/logging systems, improving infrastructure and deployment, optimizing application performance, adopting best practices, and reducing cloud costs. Requirements include a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 3+ years as a software engineer, strong understanding of data structures and algorithms, cloud technology knowledge, programming and automation skills, organizational skills, ability to work independently and under pressure, willingness to participate in on-call rotations, and a strong work ethic.
