Full job description
The Chief of Staff for the MAI Search Fundamentals team partners with leadership to drive operational excellence, strategic planning, and execution across engineering and product domains. Responsibilities include managing business rhythms, leading multiple workstreams, supporting organizational health, and coordinating with finance and HR for operational efficiency. Requires 8+ years in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development, 3+ years people management, and 6+ years managing cross-functional projects. Preferred qualifications include 15+ years experience, Chief of Staff experience, and technical program management in large scale service infrastructure (search, advertising, AI). Role is full-time, on-site in Redmond, WA. Salary ranges from $165,600 to $296,400 annually, higher in SF Bay Area and NYC.

Requirements
Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience
3+ years people management experience
6+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree AND 15+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience
Preferred: 6+ years people management experience
Preferred: 10+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects
Preferred: 5+ years prior Chief of Staff experience supporting executive leadership
Preferred: 5+ years engineering or technical program management in large scale service infrastructure, preferably in search, advertising, AI
Preferred: 1+ year experience reading and/or writing code
