Full job description
Chief of Staff role reporting to Corporate Vice President of Search Growth and Experiences. Responsible for shaping strategic agenda, executing business rhythm, leading high-performing teams, and enabling leadership effectiveness. Requires driving strategy initiatives, facilitating business reviews, aligning cross-functional teams, managing executive communications, promoting organizational health, and managing complex projects using AI and data-driven approaches. Requires Bachelor's degree and 6+ years in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development, with 3+ years managing cross-functional projects. Preferred qualifications include 12+ years experience, prior Chief of Staff experience, and technical program management in large scale infrastructure, preferably in search, advertising, or AI. On-site position in Redmond, WA. Salary range USD $142,800 - $274,800 annually, higher in SF Bay Area and NYC.

Identify team strengths and development areas, plan and execute training, track compliance training completion
Drive cross-team projects to meet changing business environment and manage complex business needs
Plan and steer complex programs toward strategic milestones, managing dependencies and coordinating across disciplines
Leverage AI across the program lifecycle
Create clarity on ambiguous projects and develop execution plans

Deliver strategic thought leadership by managing ROB and driving workback plans
Lead and manage leadership team staff meetings driving clear actions and outcomes
Identify, prioritize, and manage cross-organizational stakeholders and expectations
Drive organizational health and employee engagement strategies, programs, and initiatives
Enable a robust calendar of internal and customer communications including team touchpoints, town halls, skip-levels, and partner engagements
Track progress and manage completion of actions using data-driven insights and automation
Ensure business, resourcing, and leadership team capacity align to top business priorities
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience
3+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree AND 12+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience
Preferred: 6+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects
Preferred: 10+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects
Preferred: 5+ years of prior Chief of Staff experience supporting executive leadership
Preferred: 5+ years of experience in engineering or technical program management in large scale service infrastructure, preferably in search, advertising, or AI
