Full job description

Verve is hiring a Business Operations Manager to support sales leadership by managing strategic projects, streamlining operations, and maintaining clarity in a fast-growing sales organization. Responsibilities include project management of initiatives such as org design and territory restructuring, managing sales operations workflows including data consolidation and reporting, improving Salesforce data visibility and reporting hygiene, refining sales processes for efficiency and scalability, supporting performance tracking and development plans, assisting with talent and hiring processes, and providing administrative support. Candidates should have 3-6 years experience in business or sales operations or management consulting, proficiency in Salesforce reporting and data analysis, strong project management skills, excellent communication, and high organization and proactivity. The role is full-time, hybrid with 3 days per week onsite in NYC, offers a salary range of $100,000 to $130,000, and includes benefits such as health insurance, 401(k) match, PTO, free lunch onsite, volunteer opportunities, and professional development.

What you'll do

  • Project manage high-priority initiatives in partnership with sales leadership that cut across pods and regions, including org design, rollout plans, and territory restructuring
  • Own administrative and operational workflows such as data consolidation, reporting, and document creation for leadership
  • Bridge the gap between RevOps and sales leaders to improve visibility into pipeline and performance, including identifying gaps in data and maintaining reporting hygiene
  • Assess, document, and refine sales processes to drive efficiency, consistency, and scalability across the team
  • Partner with leadership on identifying performance concerns and tracking progress on development plans to ensure accountability
  • Draft job descriptions and support recruiting priorities
  • Anticipate needs of the leadership team, and drive momentum on projects that require senior oversight
  • Provide light administrative support, such as arranging travel, managing client gifting, or booking team or client outings

Requirements

  • 3-6 years of experience in business operations, sales operations, or management consulting (ad tech / SaaS experience a plus)
  • Experienced in Salesforce; able to build reports, analyze data, and spot trends
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent communicator capable of clear, structured writing, and confident acting as a strategic thought partner to sales leadership
  • Highly organized, resourceful, and proactive; able to anticipate needs and create order out of ambiguity
