Full job description
Smartly is seeking a Business Analytics Intern for Fall 2026, approximately 30 hours per week from October 6 to December 17, 2026. The intern will support analytical projects by transforming raw data into structured models, analyzing datasets to identify insights, building and maintaining dashboards, supporting ad hoc requests, and using AI tools to enhance analytics. Candidates should be pursuing or recently completed a degree in a quantitative field, have strong analytical skills, experience with SQL, familiarity with data modeling tools like dbt (preferred), and an interest in AI. The role involves communicating findings to technical and non-technical audiences and working with stakeholders to translate business questions into analytical solutions. The position is located in Chicago, Illinois.
