Full job description
The Data Services group at AppsFlyer seeks a Backend Developer to build and scale backend data export services and pipelines, integrate with third-party vendors and data stores, and develop the AI Assistant backend. Responsibilities include end-to-end product development, processing large data volumes securely and efficiently, and collaborating with product managers and engineers. Requirements: 3+ years backend development experience, strong skills in Scala, Java, or Python, experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), data stores (S3, BigQuery, Snowflake), Spark, Airflow, API optimization, PostgreSQL, and exposure to LLMs. B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent required. Bonus: experience with large-scale data pipelines, LLM-based applications, data lake formats (Parquet, Delta, Iceberg). Location: Herzliya, Israel.
What you'll do
- Build and scale backend data export services and pipelines, integrating with various 3rd party vendors and data stores
- Build and evolve the AI Assistant backend: agent orchestration, tool integrations over MCP, and secure human-in-the-loop actions on customer data
