Full job description
Verve is hiring a Backend Engineering Manager to lead a core engineering team responsible for developing and scaling the ad exchange and ad server functionality. The role involves people leadership, technical execution, mentoring engineers, leading agile operations, hiring, and contributing to engineering initiatives. Candidates must have 7+ years of software engineering experience with system-level languages (mainly Java and Go), 3+ years managing engineering teams, experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS), CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), agentic-assisted development tools, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and monitoring tools (Grafana, ELK). A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field is required.
