​​Backend Engineer - Creator & Content Platform

What you'll do

• Build Creator & Ops Platforms: Design and own high-velocity services powering creator ecosystem and internal content operation tools
• Design and Build Core Services: Architect and develop backend services and APIs for content delivery, user interactions, and real-time engagement
• Develop Scalable Systems: Build and optimize large-scale distributed systems for media processing, storage, and high-concurrency content distribution
• Architect Data Infrastructure to support real-time analytics and machine learning recommendation systems
• Ensure Platform Integrity with robust content ecosystem and safety mechanisms
• Enable Real-time Engagement by creating scalable real-time services for social features including messaging, notifications, and live interactions

Requirements

• 3+ years of backend development experience with a strong track record of building and scaling distributed systems in a fast-paced environment
• Deep proficiency in at least one major backend language (Go, Java, or Python) and adaptability to pick up new tools
• Ability to rapidly ship MVPs and prioritize speed-to-market
• Experience building B2B or B2C service applications with a product-focused mindset
• Strong experience with relational/NoSQL databases, message queues, and caching systems (Redis, Kafka, Postgres, etc.)
• Proven ability to work in a startup setting owning features from design to launch
• Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and designing high-traffic backend services
