Full job description

AppsFlyer is seeking a mid-level backend software engineer with 3+ years experience to join the IRS team responsible for critical services and workflows of the consumption-based billing platform. The role involves developing end-to-end services, improving existing processes, participating in design, integrating AI solutions, mentoring, and collaborating across departments. Required skills include Node.js, Go, or Python, some React, Kubernetes, SQL, AWS cloud services, CLI, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines. Bonus for NoSQL and AI workflow experience. B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent required. Location: Herzliya, Israel.

What you'll do

  • Develop end-to-end services and processes, from gathering requirements and research to implementation, deployment, and monitoring
  • Improve quality and find weaknesses in existing processes and services
  • Participate in brainstorming and early-stage designs
  • Integrate and implement AI flows and solutions into the team and department
  • Mentor, advise, and work collaboratively within the group, with other development teams, and with all other business teams in the company
  • Continuously learn and follow new technologies for personal growth and to ensure informed technology choices

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in backend software engineering
  • Strong experience with Node.js, Go, or Python
  • Some exposure to React and frontend
  • Practical understanding of big systems architecture and resilient services using Kubernetes
  • Experience with SQL databases
  • Experience working in public cloud environments - K8S, managed AWS services (RDS, SQS, Athena, EMR, etc)
  • Practical experience with CLI and Docker
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong team player with a sense of ownership and accountability
  • Mindset of continuous learning, curiosity, and openness to trying new technologies
  • Ability to understand the big picture, including technical and product perspectives
  • B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
  • Bonus: Experience in NoSQL databases
  • Bonus: 1+ year of experience with AI concepts and tools, integrating AI workflows into backend systems
