Full job description

AppsFlyer seeks a mid-level software engineer to own and evolve the Data Warehouse and develop products end-to-end. The role involves working with large-scale data pipelines, solving complex problems, collaborating with product managers and engineers, and improving product performance and scalability. Requires 3+ years development experience, JVM language proficiency, production system experience, API building skills, strong SQL knowledge, fast learning ability, teamwork, and good English communication. Bonus for Clojure experience, large-scale distributed databases, software design, Spark Scala ETL, Google Cloud Platform familiarity, and a B.Sc. in computer science. What you'll do

  • Own and evolve AppsFlyer’s Data Warehouse
  • Own and develop AppsFlyer products and features end-to-end from design to production
  • Work with petabytes of data flowing through AppsFlyer pipelines
  • Solve diverse, complex problems at scale with low clarity of the solution approach
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and Software Engineers to deliver value to customers
  • Analyze and improve performance, scalability, and stability of products, environments, and tools
  • Continuously learn and evaluate new technologies to improve products and adapt to scale

Requirements

  • 3+ years of development experience
  • Experience in JVM languages
  • Hands-on background with production systems
  • Experience in building APIs for server-client applications
  • Strong SQL knowledge
  • Ability to grasp new languages, systems, and frameworks fast
  • Team player with drive to get things done and lead others
  • Good communication skills, spoken and written English
