Full job description
Looking for a senior GCP Data Engineer with 10+ years experience, including 4+ years on Google Cloud Platform. Must have strong Python programming skills with OOP principles and experience building scalable data pipelines using GCP services such as BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Cloud Composer, DataForm, Pub/Sub, Eventarc, and Cloud Build. Responsibilities include architecting and building cloud solutions, designing modular Python applications for data ingestion and transformation, maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines, integrating external APIs, developing event-driven architectures, automating deployment and testing with CI/CD pipelines, optimizing performance and cost, collaborating with teams to meet business requirements, and ensuring data security and compliance. Good to have skills include UNIX shell scripting, Snowflake, Redshift, NoSQL databases like MongoDB, ETL tools, experience with AWS/Azure, client-facing skills, technical team management, and requirement gathering.
