Full job description

Seeking a DevOps Engineer with 0-1 year experience to maintain, optimize, and build components for multi-terabyte operational marketing databases integrated with cloud technologies. Responsibilities include monitoring and debugging automation jobs, maintaining SQL Server scripts for data analysis and extraction, understanding ETL flows, maintaining data mart extraction, performing unit-level QA and testing, writing documentation, and communicating with clients and teams. Requires Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent, skills in Microsoft SQL Server, Python, SQL, and good communication. Must work onsite in Mumbai (Thane) with rotational shifts including weekends.

Monitor and debug automation/scheduled jobs
Maintain and write basic SQL scripts in Microsoft SQL Server for data analysis and extraction
Understand and debug ETL flow
Maintain data mart extraction processes
Perform quality assurance and unit testing
Write user and technical documentation
Communicate efficiently with stakeholders including clients, IT team, and development teams

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
0-1 year relevant experience
Good verbal & written communication skills
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
Scripting skills in Python and SQL
Ability to monitor and debug automation/scheduled jobs
Ability to maintain/write basic SQL scripts for data analysis and extraction
Understanding and debugging ETL flow
Maintaining data mart extraction processes
Performing quality assurance and unit testing
Writing user and technical documentation
Effective communication with clients, IT team, and development teams
Willingness to work in client-specific time zones and rotational shifts including weekends
