The Trade Desk seeks a Business Development Director to lead one of the largest accounts. The role requires building and cultivating relationships with senior client leadership, working cross-functionally with client services and trading teams, demonstrating the media buying platform, participating in product roadmap discussions, responding to RFPs, leading global account discussions, optimizing company-wide goals with product, marketing, and revenue teams, identifying and closing strategic upselling opportunities, mentoring account managers, and contributing to company culture. Requirements include 8+ years in online advertising, existing key relationships in holding companies, strong communication and negotiation skills, ability to use dashboards for business insights, preferred experience with technical platforms, occasional travel, and fluency in Japanese and English.
