InMobi Advertising seeks an Applied Scientist III to join the algorithmic and research science team. The role involves designing and implementing algorithms for real-time auctions, dynamic pricing, bid shaping, pacing, and traffic allocation at scale. Candidates will work with online learning, reinforcement learning, multi-armed bandits, forecasting, game theory, and Bayesian modeling. Responsibilities include collaborating with product and engineering teams to deploy models, conducting scientific reviews, publishing research, and refining algorithms based on real-world feedback. Requirements include 4-7 years of experience in applied research with production deployment, strong knowledge in statistical learning theory, optimization, game theory, and proficiency in Python and big data platforms like Apache Spark. A Ph.D. is preferred but not mandatory. Prior experience in ad tech or marketplaces is helpful. The position is based in Bangalore, India.
