The Signals Modeling team builds and trains large-scale text and numerical models to predict user interactions with ads, powering ad ranking and business outcomes. The role involves end-to-end ownership of ML systems including data and label construction, representation learning, multi-task objectives, calibration, and evaluation. Responsibilities include driving innovations in user response modeling, developing evaluation frameworks, and maintaining model training and data pipelines. Candidates should have a relevant degree with 2+ years experience or advanced degree with less experience, proven skills in machine learning model development and deployment, experience with large-scale data, and proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow. The position is full-time, on-site in Mountain View, CA, with salary ranging from $102,100 to $202,200 annually depending on location.
