Full job description

Vistar Media, a global digital out-of-home advertising marketplace, is seeking a mid-level analytics professional to join their team in Sydney, Australia. The role involves developing measurement solutions and delivering actionable insights to inform media strategy and campaign performance. Responsibilities include collaborating with internal teams and clients, conducting data analyses, maintaining media performance benchmarks, and working with product and engineering to productise solutions. Requirements include a bachelor's degree, proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, experience with SQL, agency analytics or consumer insights experience, cross-functional teamwork, data analysis and communication skills, knowledge of digital media, and familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Google Data Studio, and Looker.

What you'll do

  • Craft compelling and actionable insights utilising a variety of robust data sets to proactively inform media strategy
  • Work with internal teams and clients to understand campaign objectives and define measurement strategy
  • Work with internal teams and external partners to implement measurement studies
  • Create and deliver mid and post-campaign performance analyses; work with client success and sales teams to define upsell opportunities based on performance insights
  • Maintain Vistar’s media performance benchmarks and work with the marketing team to develop external case studies
  • Work with client success and sales teams to define verticalised best practices and strategic insights based on campaign performance across the Vistar platform
  • Understand and educate internal teams on relevant measurement solutions; maintain relationships with third party measurement partners
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses and provide actionable insights to internal teams and clients
  • Work closely with product and engineering teams to productise new solutions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with SQL
  • Experience on an agency analytics, research, or consumer insights team
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, product)
  • Experience analysing data and communicating client-friendly insights
  • Knowledge of digital media
  • Knowledge of data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Google Data Studio, Looker
