Full job description

AppLovin is hiring an Analyst, Business Development for its Consumer (eCommerce & Apps) team in Shanghai. This full-time, on-site role requires 1-3 years of experience and a bachelor's degree. The candidate will work with eCommerce brands and non-gaming apps to drive growth using AppLovin’s marketing platform. Responsibilities include onboarding clients, campaign setup, performance analysis, and partnership with the business development team. Required skills include strong analytical ability, data handling, fluency in English and Mandarin, and a passion for technology. Preferred qualifications include experience in the Consumer space, basic programming knowledge, and familiarity with user acquisition platforms.

What you'll do

  • Onboard Consumer clients (eCommerce brands and non-gaming apps) to the platform and educate them on AppLovin’s Consumer growth solution
  • Understand partner priorities and drive action plans for growth
  • Set up new campaigns using best practices for creative and performance targets
  • Define and analyze metrics to ensure success for Consumer partners
  • Become an expert on AppLovin’s mobile advertising products for Consumer brands
  • Partner with the broader AppLovin Business Development team in the region

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of professional experience
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in related fields
  • Self-starter and eager to learn
  • Outstanding analytical ability and strategic grasp of the big picture
  • Experience prioritizing competing demands
  • Flexible team-player with drive, creativity, and initiative
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin with ability to build convincing argumentation from complex data
  • Experience handling large data sets and analyzing complex data to identify actionable patterns
  • Proven interest in technology
  • Preferred: Experience in the Consumer space and brand operations
  • Preferred: Basic understanding of programming or scripting
  • Preferred: Understanding of models for intelligent decision making (e.g. game theory, chess, poker)
  • Preferred: Familiarity with AppLovin or other UA platforms
