Full job description

AppLovin is hiring a full-time, on-site Business Development professional in Beijing. The role involves developing partnerships with mobile game and app developers to support growth in User Acquisition and Ad Monetization in the Greater China Region. Responsibilities include negotiating with developers, improving advertising campaign performance, troubleshooting account issues, using data to guide strategy, and collaborating with internal teams. Candidates should have 1-3 years experience in user acquisition, account management, business development, or sales in mobile advertising or gaming, be fluent in Chinese and English, possess strong client management, analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, and hold a BA/BS degree or equivalent. Familiarity with Excel and AI tools is a plus. The role requires onsite presence in Beijing.

What you'll do

  • Interface, negotiate and develop high-impact relationships with mobile game and app developers to build business partnerships and support company growth on User Acquisition and Ad Monetization in GCR
  • Collaborate with gaming app developers to improve advertising campaign performance and monetization stacks, troubleshoot and resolve account issues
  • Use data to guide strategy and implementation of AppLovin solutions, become an expert in AppLovin products and solutions
  • Liaise with internal technical and operation teams regarding developer-focused technical queries and provide customer support
  • Leverage competitive analysis and understand the mobile advertising landscape, distill complex messages into simple narratives and act on them

Requirements

  • 1-3 years experience in User Acquisition, Account Management, Business Development, or Sales in mobile advertising, gaming, or relevant industries
  • Fluent in Chinese and English
  • Exceptional client management skills with proven success in business/client retention and growth
  • Data-driven and detail oriented with strong analytical and negotiation skills
  • Proactive problem solving capabilities and outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Curiosity to dive into issues and come up with creative solutions
  • Highly motivated and hungry to grow
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
