Full job description

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, with 3-5 years experience in technical project management, stakeholder management, professional services, solution engineering, or technical consulting. Candidates should have experience in system design or reading code (Java, C++, Python) and customer-facing roles involving technical implementations. Fluency in English and Mandarin is required. Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree and experience in ad tech measurement, tagging analytics, and attribution, as well as building proofs of concept using JS, Python, and SQL. Responsibilities include leading product commercialization, market analysis, customer needs assessments, handling technical escalations, communicating complex technical concepts, working with product management, identifying efficiency improvements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The role is based in Beijing or Shanghai, China.

What you'll do

  • Lead in-market product commercialization, market analysis, customer product needs assessments, and day-to-day technical escalations
  • Absorb complex technical concepts and communicate them to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Interact with product management teams
  • Identify opportunities for increased efficiencies and work with cross-functional teams to improve products and operations
  • Work within the online advertising industry and support customers across Google’s Ad products stack
  • Partner with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to develop better solutions, tools, and services

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience in technical project management, stakeholder management, professional services, solution engineering, or technical consulting
  • Experience in either system design or reading code (e.g., Java, C++, Python)
  • Experience in a customer-facing role working with stakeholders, driving customer technical implementations or transformation programs
  • Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin fluently to support client relationship management in this region
