Adtech Platform Engineering Lead role responsible for leading a team designing, building, and operating web platform capabilities for high traffic marketing experiences. Role includes managing and developing an engineering team, providing technical authority on platform architecture, shared services, reliability, security, and operational excellence. Responsibilities include team leadership, translating business requirements into technical plans, hands-on technical ownership of platform lifecycle, defining platform standards and governance, ensuring reliability and observability, managing privacy and compliance, and cross-functional leadership. Required qualifications include Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 6+ years engineering experience coding in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python or equivalent experience. Preferred qualifications include Master's degree or 8+ years experience, 4+ years people management, 8+ years software/platform engineering or SRE experience, 5+ years translating business needs into architecture and delivery plans, 4+ years security/privacy experience, and 5+ years experience with Azure ecosystem or equivalent cloud services. Salary range typical US: $142,800 - $274,800; San Francisco Bay Area and NYC: $188,000 - $304,200.

Lead, mentor, and grow a team of platform engineers, setting clear expectations for ownership, quality, security, and operational excellence

Own on call readiness, incident response, root cause analysis, and preventative remediation for business critical services
Partner with privacy, legal, and security teams to ensure privacy by design, consent handling, data minimization, and compliant data usage
Maintain audit ready documentation including data lineage, classifications, access controls, and operational controls
Serve as the primary technical point of accountability across Web engineering, Marketing Measurement, Analytics, and Platform teams
Communicate clearly with technical and business stakeholders on tradeoffs, risks, and delivery progress

Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python or equivalent experience
Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python or Bachelor's Degree AND 12+ years technical engineering experience or equivalent experience
4+ years people management experience including hiring, coaching, performance management, and team development
8+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or SRE, owning large scale production web services
5+ years of experience translating business and product needs into technical architecture and executable delivery plans
4+ years of experience in security, privacy, and compliant data handling for customer facing web platforms
5+ years of experience with the Azure ecosystem or equivalent cloud services
