Full job description

Internship role in AdTech Partnerships team at Refinery89 based in Madrid (on-site). Support management and growth of demand partner network to optimize monetisation performance across publisher portfolio. Responsibilities include partner relationship management, onboarding demand partners, monitoring performance, data analysis of CPMs, fill rates, revenue, collaborating with technical teams, supporting monetisation rollouts, preparing reports, participating in meetings with SSPs, conducting market research, and contributing to demand stack optimisation. Requirements: pursuing or recently completed Bachelor's or Master's in relevant fields, strong interest in digital advertising and AdTech, excellent English, analytical skills, proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, attention to detail, communication skills, eagerness to learn, and ability to understand new technologies. Pros include understanding of programmatic advertising, familiarity with SSPs and header bidding, experience with reporting tools like Google Data Studio, Looker Studio or Power BI, and interest in commercial partnerships or yield optimisation.

What you'll do

  • Support the AdTech Partnerships team in managing relationships with demand partners and monetisation platforms
  • Assist with the onboarding and implementation of demand partners across publisher websites
  • Help monitor partner performance and identify trends, revenue opportunities and areas for optimisation
  • Analyse data related to CPMs, fill rates, revenue and partner activity to support commercial decision-making
  • Collaborate with technical and operations teams to help resolve issues affecting partner performance
  • Support the rollout of new monetisation opportunities and demand integrations across the network
  • Prepare reports, dashboards and performance summaries for internal stakeholders and partner discussions
  • Participate in meetings with SSPs and other monetisation partners, helping track action points and follow-ups
  • Conduct market and partner research to support business development and partnership growth initiatives
  • Learn and contribute to the optimisation of Refinery89’s demand stack and monetisation setup

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, Data Analytics or a related field
  • Strong interest in digital advertising, AdTech, online media and monetisation
  • Excellent level of English, both written and spoken
  • Good analytical skills and confidence working with data and spreadsheets
  • Good knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work proactively and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Curious, eager to learn and motivated to grow within the AdTech industry
  • Ability to quickly understand new technologies and digital products
