Microsoft Advertising seeks a Client Success Specialist / Account Manager with 6+ years of experience in Sales, Advertising, or Marketing focused on digital advertising. The role involves managing client accounts, driving revenue growth, improving client satisfaction, and developing strategic client relationships. Responsibilities include monitoring account health, applying Microsoft sales strategies, generating upsell opportunities, understanding client marketing needs, and acting as a thought leader on industry trends. Preferred candidates have 8+ years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience combinations. Location: Beijing, China.

What you'll do

  • Ensure account health by proactively monitoring all activities and seeking feedback to grow business and improve client experience
  • Establish the business value of Microsoft’s advertising services
  • Adopt Microsoft sales strategies and leverage Unified Client Management tools to increase performance, satisfaction, and upsell opportunities
  • Generate business and upsells by developing value-proposition presentations and specialized business plans for clients
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of clients’ marketing needs and competition to anticipate needs and deliver new insights
  • Own and elevate relationships throughout multiple levels at the customer’s organization
  • Act as a thought leader on industry trends, technology, and KPIs
  • Leverage competitive knowledge to elevate client success and create solutions that increase revenue

Requirements

  • 6+ years relevant work experience in Sales, Advertising, or Marketing with a focus on digital advertising
  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field AND 4+ years relevant work experience in Sales, Advertising, or Marketing with a focus on digital advertising
  • OR Master of Business Administration (MBA) Degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field AND 2+ years relevant work experience in Sales, Advertising, or Marketing with a focus on digital advertising
  • OR equivalent experience
  • Preferred: 8+ years relevant work experience in Sales, Advertising, or Marketing with a focus on digital advertising
  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field AND 5+ years relevant work experience
  • OR MBA Degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field AND 4+ years relevant work experience
