Full job description
The Account Manager will manage customer accounts and relationships, overseeing campaign kick-off, implementation, launch, reporting, remediation, and billing. Collaborate with Sales, Implementation, Product Management, Engineering, and Finance teams to deliver customer service and solutions. Responsibilities include managing agency/network partner relationships, providing client service, identifying growth opportunities, managing onboarding and reporting, ensuring quality service and issue resolution, conducting client calls, compiling performance evaluations, monitoring campaign performance, managing billing, communicating product value, managing expectations, maintaining client relationships, handling complex partner relationships, participating in meetings and process improvements, providing customer feedback internally, attending industry events, and special projects. Requirements include experience in sales or account management in online advertising, bachelor's degree or higher, strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, experience with ad serving technology, understanding of online media marketplace, ability to manage multiple priorities, excellent communication skills, and fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
What you'll do
- Proactively manage day-to-day Agency and/or Network partner relationships of assigned accounts
- Provide strategic and tactical client service to a complex, high touch customer base
- Oversee assigned portfolios, identifying growth opportunities and up-sell potential within existing client base
- Manage client business processes including onboarding, implementation, reporting, remediation, and billing
- Ensure quality of services and solutions, including resolution of support requests and troubleshooting reporting, ad-serving, or data issues
- Organize and conduct kick-off and ongoing calls with clients and internal teams to understand campaign deliverables
- Compile performance evaluations for each client highlighting DoubleVerify value proposition
- Monitor and report campaign performance to ensure delivery and billing and extract insights from reports
- Facilitate and ensure contract billing process is administered timely and with quality
- Communicate DoubleVerify’s value proposition, technology, and partnerships related to growth of client accounts
- Manage customer expectations throughout campaign lifecycle
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients at senior and mid-management levels
- Manage complicated relationships across Advertisers, Agencies, Networks, Publishers, and 3rd Party Technology partners
- Participate in client meetings to understand partner goals and objectives
- Manage or participate in ongoing process improvement initiatives
- Provide customer insights internally to improve products and services
- Attend offsite meetings, conferences, or industry events as necessary
- Perform special projects as identified by management
Requirements
- Experience in Sales or Account Management with a deep understanding of the online advertising industry
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent/higher level of education
- Exceptional command of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Direct experience working at one or more of the following: advertising agency, publisher, ad network or demand side platform
- Experience with Ad Serving technology
- Comprehensive understanding of the online media marketplace
- Experience managing online media products and technologies such as creative trafficking, campaign management, or ad serving
- Self-motivated, independent thinker and a team player
- Proven ability to handle multiple deliverables with tight deadlines, manage competing priorities, and perform in high pressure environments
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of management including senior executive level
- Organized with rigorous attention to detail, drive for excellence, and a positive can-do approach
- Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
