Full job description

Microsoft Advertising seeks a senior Account Manager with 8+ years of experience in Sales, Advertising, or Marketing focused on digital advertising. The role involves managing client accounts to ensure health and growth, adopting Microsoft sales strategies, leveraging client management tools, generating upsell opportunities, understanding client marketing needs and competition, maintaining multi-level client relationships, and acting as a thought leader on industry trends and KPIs. Candidates should have relevant experience or equivalent education and experience combinations as specified.

What you'll do

  • Ensure account health by proactively monitoring all activities, seeking feedback to grow business, and creating long-term strategies to improve client experience.
  • Adopt Microsoft sales strategies and leverage Unified Client Management tools to increase performance, satisfaction, and upsell opportunities.
  • Generate business and upsells by developing value-proposition presentations and specialized business plans for clients.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of clients’ marketing needs and competition to anticipate needs and deliver new insights.
  • Own and elevate relationships throughout multiple levels at the customer’s organization.
  • Act as a thought leader on industry trends, technology, and KPIs.
  • Leverage competitive knowledge to elevate client success and create solutions that increase revenue.

Requirements

  • 8+ years relevant work experience (Sales, Advertising, or Marketing with a focus on digital advertising) OR
  • Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field AND 6+ years relevant work experience (Sales, Advertising, or Marketing with a focus on digital advertising) OR
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) Degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field AND 4+ years relevant work experience (Sales, Advertising, or Marketing with a focus on digital advertising) OR
  • equivalent experience
  • Preferred: 10+ years relevant work experience OR
  • Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field AND 7+ years relevant work experience OR
  • MBA Degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field AND 5+ years relevant work experience
