Full job description

The Account Manager will manage customer accounts and relationships, overseeing campaigns from kick-off to billing. Responsibilities include collaborating with internal teams, recommending strategies, educating customers on products, maintaining strategic account plans, identifying churn risks, and performing audits. Requirements include 2-4 years work experience, 1-2 years in Sales or Account Management in online advertising, Bachelor's degree, proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, experience with ad serving technology, and strong communication and organizational skills. The role is full-time, on-site at New York City HQ, with a salary range of $54,000 to $96,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you'll do

  • Service all aspects of customer accounts and relationships
  • Oversee campaigns across kick-off, implementation, launch, reporting, remediation, and billing
  • Collaborate with Sales, Implementation, Product Management, Engineering, and Finance teams
  • Recommend and implement strategies for driving ongoing client product needs
  • Educate customers about DoubleVerify product suite and how products can be leveraged to meet goals
  • Establish contact reports including QBR delivery, Monthly office hours, feature update meetings and education sessions
  • Have strategic conversations during client touch points and update manager regularly
  • Execute and maintain Strategic Account Plan for Top Tier advertisers and review monthly
  • Keep abreast of industry and client specific news and provide optimization suggestions
  • Identify common questions, trends and challenges and establish action plans
  • Identify potential churn risks and escalate immediately
  • Provide monthly updates on churn factors and client engagement
  • Perform monthly audit of book of business and present to manager
  • Clean-up AM dashboard weekly and ensure audit tasks are on track
  • Upload client related documents in Salesforce
  • Complete internal tracker and status documents within designated timeframes
  • Provide regular updates to clients, partners and internal stakeholders and resolve issues

Requirements

  • 2-4 years overall work experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in Sales or Account Management with a deep understanding of the online advertising industry
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
  • Exceptional command of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Direct experience working at one or more of the following: advertising agency, publisher, ad network or demand side platform
  • Experience with Ad Serving technology
  • Comprehensive understanding of the online media marketplace
  • Experience managing online media products and technologies such as creative trafficking, campaign management, or ad serving
  • Self-motivated, independent thinker and a team player
  • Proven ability to handle multiple deliverables with tight deadlines, manage competing priorities, and perform in high-pressure environments
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of management including senior executive level
  • Organized with rigorous attention to detail, drive for excellence, and a positive 'can-do' approach
  • Passion and desire to play a key role in driving a new business to success in the advertising technology space
