Full job description

Microsoft Advertising seeks an Account Manager to drive revenue and client satisfaction by developing strategic client relationships and delivering customized digital advertising solutions. Responsibilities include partnering with teams to develop account plans, optimizing client campaigns, influencing stakeholders with data insights, supporting contract negotiations, and upselling products. Required qualifications include an MBA with 2+ years or Bachelor's with 4+ years relevant experience in sales, advertising, or marketing focused on digital advertising, or equivalent experience. Preferred qualifications include 2+ years managing search advertising campaigns, experience in online media or SEM sales, and experience in Financial Services. The role is full-time, on-site in Chicago, Los Angeles, or Austin. Salary ranges from $85,100 to $169,800 annually, with higher ranges for San Francisco Bay area and New York City. What you'll do

  • Partner with teams including AEs and Specialist team to develop and execute MSA account plan leveraging winning sales strategies
  • Learn about client’s business drivers, seasonality to identify optimization opportunities and partner with Account Executive on sales plans
  • Influence Digital Marketing Managers, Directors, and Digital Buying Groups using data insights and product demonstrations
  • Optimize existing client business to achieve sales targets, execute pipeline and revenue goals using solution selling mindset
  • Support Account Executive in building negotiation plans for smooth closing and timely contract renewals
  • Maintain positive approach during objections and negotiations, demonstrate expertise in MSA features and incentives
  • Upsell and increase consumption of existing products, identify and replicate winning sales strategies
  • Embody Microsoft culture and values

Requirements

  • MBA in Sales, Marketing, or related field AND 2+ years relevant work experience in sales, advertising, or marketing with focus on digital advertising OR
  • Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field AND 4+ years relevant work experience in sales, advertising, or marketing with focus on digital advertising OR
  • 6+ years relevant work experience in sales, advertising, or marketing with focus on digital advertising OR equivalent experience
  • Preferred: MBA AND 4+ years relevant experience OR Bachelor's AND 5+ years relevant experience OR 8+ years relevant experience
  • 2+ years managing hands-on search advertising campaigns and other performance-based digital marketing campaigns
  • 2+ years experience in online media or Search Engine Marketing Sales and Service
  • Experience within the Financial Services industry
