Full job description

Account Management + Ad Operations Executive role reporting to Operations Manager (China). Location: Mainland China. Responsibilities include managing digital media campaign execution, creative trafficking using platforms such as DCM, Celtra, Scoota, Appnexus, and DBM, leading pre-campaign processes, client consultation, project management of creative design, campaign activation, reporting, finance administration, and client engagement. Requires 1-4 years experience in ad-ops trafficking, campaign management, client servicing, troubleshooting, and programmatic or social advertising expertise. Must have hands-on experience with multiple digital platforms (Ad server, DSP, SSP, DMP), knowledge of programmatic buying, HTML5 and JavaScript basics preferred. Strong communication, multitasking, team management, and client coordination skills needed. Weekend support required occasionally with compensatory off. The role supports China clients and involves both ad operations and account management tasks.

What you'll do

  • Support during weekends (Saturday & Sunday sometimes) with compensatory off
  • Create ad-serving packages for clients and internal processes
  • Traffic creatives from systems such as DCM, Celtra & Scoota into Appnexus & DBM
  • Lead special projects to improve pre-campaign process and creative compliance
  • Scope and suggest new creative formats and ad-serving technologies
  • Consult with clients on design and build of ad creatives
  • Project manage creative design and build from brief to client sign-off
  • Administrative duties including CRM opportunity and IO management
  • Track and communicate priority campaigns
  • Pre-campaign management including sheets, creative, pixels collection and support
  • Leverage existing PMP deals and set up new ones
  • Project manage 3rd party relationships
  • Implement MiQ product suite (CiQ, Motion, Elevate etc.)
  • Troubleshoot campaign issues
  • Creative testing and amendments to setup
  • Commercial firefighting
  • Campaign activation including sending screenshots and organizing reporting
  • Assist with benchmarks and up weights
  • Support rebooking completion
  • Insight planning considering client objectives and market factors
  • Internal project management
  • Manage delivery of insights back to client at campaign end
  • Finance administration including PO gathering, reconciliations and invoice queries
  • Support client engagement via hotdesking, client calls, AiQx demos and other requests
  • Maintain high level of service internally and externally
  • Perform account management work as required

Requirements

  • 1-4 years with strong ad-ops trafficking, campaign management/client servicing, and troubleshooting skills
  • Expert in at least one domain of programmatic or social advertising (paid media)
  • Hands-on experience on more than one digital platform (Ad server / DSP / SSP / DMP, etc.)
  • Advanced knowledge of 3rd party ad platforms (Ad server / DSP / SSP / DMP etc.)
  • Knowledge of the programmatic buying process
  • Knowledge of HTML5 and basic JavaScript is a plus
  • Proven team management, prioritization, and team training skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Experience in dealing with clients from China
  • Experience managing multiple time-sensitive tasks to completion, prioritizing accordingly
  • Evidence of implementing new processes that promote operational efficiency
  • Strong communication skills; ability to work independently and within a team environment
