The Account Executive, Travel & Entertainment role is a hunter-focused sales position responsible for driving new programmatic advertising revenue from in-house marketing teams and brands within Travel, Entertainment, and Franchise verticals. Reporting to a Sales Director, the role focuses on new logo acquisition, outbound sales strategy, pipeline building, and collaboration with product and solutions teams to meet brand-direct client needs. Responsibilities include pitching and closing deals, creating pitch decks, maintaining market knowledge, and working with Account Managers for client success. Requirements include proven sales success in digital advertising, preferably programmatic, consultative selling skills, CRM proficiency (Salesforce), ability to communicate technical concepts, and willingness to travel occasionally. What you'll do
- Identify, pitch, and close new platform sales deals with in-house marketing teams and brands
- Focus on new logo acquisition within assigned verticals (Travel, Entertainment, etc.)
- Develop and execute outbound sales strategy targeting experienced industry sales professionals
- Build robust pipeline focused on brand-direct prospects using CRM tools
- Collaborate with management, product, and solutions teams to articulate client needs and co-create vertical offerings
- Translate field insights into product strategy and innovation
- Create value-based pitch decks and research to close new business with executive-level prospects
- Maintain deep understanding of market trends, competitive threats, and evolving client needs
- Work closely with Account Managers for client success and expansion opportunities
Requirements
- Track record of hitting and exceeding quotas in hunter-focused sales within digital advertising
- Strong preference for programmatic advertising experience
- Comfort selling directly to brands/in-house marketing teams through consultative, solution-based selling
- Strong analytical skills
- Self-starter mentality
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environment
- Experience developing and implementing go-to-market plans including defining ICPs and segmentation frameworks
- Ability to grasp and communicate complex technical concepts and platform knowledge to diverse audiences
- Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce) to manage pipelines and forecast sales
- Experience building strong client relationships and driving top-line revenue growth through new logo acquisition
- Willingness to travel occasionally to meet clients
