Full job description
StackAdapt is seeking a mid-level Account Executive to manage and grow the Northern California territory. The role focuses on selling an AI-powered omnichannel DSP to mid-market agencies and brands. Responsibilities include driving new business, managing the full sales cycle, building a pipeline with CRM tools, partnering with Account Managers for account retention and expansion, and collaborating with internal teams to tailor solutions. Candidates should have 3-5 years of experience in digital advertising sales, preferably programmatic, with proven success in quota-carrying roles, strong client-facing skills, and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. The position is remote-first but requires candidates to be located in Northern California and willing to travel locally for client meetings. What you'll do
- Drive net new business with agencies and brands across Northern California
- Own the full sales cycle - from prospecting through close and expansion
- Build and grow a pipeline using CRM tools and outbound strategies
- Partner with Account Managers to retain and expand existing accounts
- Translate client goals into strategic campaign recommendations
- Collaborate with product and internal teams to shape solutions based on market needs
Requirements
- Experience owning and selling into a Northern California territory
- Proven success closing net new business in a quota-carrying role
- Background in digital advertising (programmatic strongly preferred)
- Experience building and delivering client-facing pitches
- Ability to navigate both new business and account growth conversations
- Comfortable explaining technical/platform concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Willingness to travel within your region for client meetings
