Full job description
StackAdapt is hiring a mid-level Account Executive for New Business focused on closing new partnerships with independent agencies in programmatic advertising. The role is full-time and remote, restricted to candidates in the Pacific Northwest region (OR, WA, ID, HI, AK). Responsibilities include prospecting, outbound sales, pitching, closing deals, collaborating with sales and marketing teams, responding to RFPs, and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline. Candidates must have 4+ years of sales experience in programmatic advertising, strong negotiation skills, and proficiency with sales tools such as LinkedIn SalesNavigator, ZoomInfo, Gong, and MediaRadar. What you'll do
- Partner with sales leadership to identify, prospect, and close new agency partnerships within assigned North American territory
- Research and identify key decision-makers within target agencies using sales tools
- Build outreach strategies and prospect engagement plans autonomously
- Develop customized sales presentations and pitch decks aligned with client needs
- Lead negotiations and close deals with favorable terms
- Collaborate with regional teams during onboarding to ensure smooth customer experience
- Respond to RFPs and develop tailored campaign strategies for agencies’ first campaigns
- Work with marketing to support lead generation and maintain pipeline of MQLs and SQLs
- Organize and attend local in-person events targeting agency prospects
- Maintain strategic outbound rhythm with 100+ accounts ensuring pipeline hygiene and progression through sales stages
Requirements
- 4+ years of sales experience in programmatic advertising
- Experience selling to independent agencies
- Proven track record of closing net new partnerships
- Strong negotiation skills
- Proven success in a quota-driven environment
- Ability to understand complex business objectives
- Skilled at communicating technical and platform-based concepts to executive-level prospects
- Excellent understanding of the programmatic ecosystem, competitive environment, and agency operating models
- High competency in sales tools such as Gong, ZoomInfo, and SalesNavigator
- Experience with AI usage in the sales cycle is a plus
