Full job description
StackAdapt is seeking a mid-level Account Executive for Vertical Sales focused on driving new programmatic advertising revenue from in-house marketing teams and brands within the eCommerce vertical. This full-time remote role prioritizes candidates located in the Eastern and Western United States. Responsibilities include identifying and closing new sales deals, developing outbound sales strategies, building pipelines, collaborating with internal teams on product offerings, and maintaining market knowledge. Candidates must have 3-5 years of hunter-focused sales experience in digital advertising, preferably programmatic, strong consultative selling and analytical skills, proficiency with CRM tools such as Salesforce, and willingness to travel occasionally. What you'll do
- Identify, pitch, and close new platform sales deals with in-house marketing teams and brands in eCommerce vertical
- Develop and execute outbound sales strategy targeting experienced industry sales professionals
- Build robust pipeline focused on brand-direct prospects using CRM tools
- Collaborate with management, product, and solutions teams to articulate client needs and co-create vertical offerings
- Translate field insights into product strategy and innovation
- Create compelling value-based pitch decks and research to close new business with executive-level prospects
- Maintain deep understanding of market trends, competitive threats, and evolving client needs
- Work closely with Account Managers post-onboarding to ensure smooth hand-off and client success
Requirements
- Track record of hitting and exceeding quotas in hunter-focused sales within digital advertising
- Strong preference for programmatic advertising experience
- Experience selling directly to brands/in-house marketing teams through consultative, solution-based selling
- Strong analytical skills
- Self-starter mentality able to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environment
- Experience developing and implementing go-to-market plans including defining Ideal Customer Profiles and segmentation frameworks
- Ability to grasp and communicate complex technical concepts and platform knowledge to diverse audiences
- Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce) to manage pipelines and forecast sales
- Experience building strong client relationships and driving consistent top-line revenue growth
- Willingness to travel occasionally within assigned region
