Media.net is hiring an Account Executive based in New York responsible for partnering with large holding company account teams representing major advertisers. The role involves building strong relationships with agency account teams, collaborating with clients to develop strategies using SSP technology, advising on revenue opportunities, engaging clients through events, staying updated on industry trends, and maintaining customer data in Salesforce. Requirements include a bachelor's degree in business or marketing, 2-4 years experience in media buying or programmatic advertising, strong communication skills, proficiency in Google Slides and PowerPoint, and strong customer-facing skills. Compensation ranges from $70,000 to $90,000 base salary plus bonus and benefits including unlimited vacation, family-focused benefits, mobile phone benefit, medical and life insurance, catered meals, flexible work hours, and a casual work environment.

What you'll do

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with advertising agency account teams representing top global brands
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their objectives and develop tailored strategies maximizing inventory value through SSP technology
  • Advise on innovative revenue opportunities and assist sales team in meeting revenue targets and activating new programmatic deals and PMPs
  • Engage with account teams weekly through lunch and learns, social events, and event planning
  • Stay informed about industry trends and developments to advise clients on best practices and innovative solutions
  • Maintain customer relationships and key information in Salesforce and share voice-of-the-customer feedback internally

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related marketing field
  • 2 to 4 years experience in media buying, programmatic advertising at a brand, agency, or holding company
  • Exceptional written and communication skills
  • Proficiency in using Google Slides and PowerPoint with strong project management skills
  • Driven and strong customer-facing skills to ensure positive customer experiences
