Full job description

Account Executive responsible for driving sales into Fortune 500 companies through Holding Companies and brands. Key duties include prospecting top Holding Companies and brands, applying value selling methodology, conducting discovery/needs analysis with marketing and analytics leaders, being subject matter expert on IAS products, understanding client business models and marketing strategies, and working cross-functionally to maintain strong client relationships. Requires 2+ years selling to large agencies and brands globally, strong relationship building skills, experience leading client meetings and business reviews, ownership of sales lifecycle, proven performance, ability to lead cross-functional teams, extensive ad tech knowledge, Salesforce experience, and a Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred). Location: Tokyo, Japan.

What you'll do

  • Prospect top Holding Companies and brands, utilizing all available resources to identify target accounts, develop effective outreach, set meetings with decision makers, and advance the business through the sales stages
  • Apply the value selling sales methodology and problem-solving strategies to best position IAS products and services to gain new clients and overcome any existing obstacles in the way of renewals
  • Successfully conduct discovery/needs analysis with Digital Marketers, Analytics leaders, Marketing Directors, Media Directors, and others at both advertising agencies and brands within your assigned territory to evangelize IAS business solutions
  • Be the subject matter expert for IAS products and service offerings to be able to communicate our value proposition and how our offerings can assist current clients in meeting their marketing benchmarks
  • Understand the clients’ organizational structure, business model, and online marketing strategies to be able to effectively demonstrate how IAS can serve as a better business solution
  • Work cross functionally with other departments to ensure a strong client relationship, seamless integration, and continued engagement

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience selling to large agencies and brands globally
  • History of building strong, trusting collaborative relationships with key senior level stakeholders
  • Self-starter, to grow existing sales opportunities and source new sales opportunities
  • Experience leading client meetings, data analysis, strategic business reviews and joint business plans
  • Track record of owning customer relationships and overseeing the entire sales lifecycle of the client
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding performance and retention goals
  • Ability to collaborate effectively or lead cross-functional teams
  • Extensive knowledge of the ad tech landscape
  • Salesforce experience and forecasting acumen
  • Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred
