Full job description
StackAdapt is seeking an Account Director to join the Revenue team in Singapore. This full-time remote role involves sales and customer relationship management focused on programmatic advertising. The Account Director will grow existing business and close new revenue from agencies and brands, working closely with Account Managers to present campaign strategies and solutions. Candidates must have 10+ years experience in digital advertising sales or account management, strong programmatic knowledge, and a proven track record managing large accounts and closing deals. Responsibilities include pitching to Big6 agencies and brands, managing client relationships, identifying upsell opportunities, and collaborating with internal teams. What you'll do
- Identify, pitch, and close platform sales deals with Big6 Agency Holding Companies and brands
- Build and manage strong existing client relationships by understanding business objectives, challenges, and opportunities
- Work with StackAdapt Account Managers to grow and retain existing accounts by creating high-level strategy and presenting new campaign approaches/solutions
- Identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities, drive client retention and expansion
- Partner closely with management/product and internal teams to specify and build products against larger customer opportunities
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in digital advertising sales, account management, or related fields
- Proven track record of managing large-scale accounts and driving campaign success
- Experience navigating senior relationships at Big6 Agency Holding Companies and independent agencies
- In-depth programmatic knowledge and expertise
- Strong existing agency/client network and relationships across Southeast Asia
- Experience sales pipeline management and client satisfaction, renewal and opportunity discovery
- Experience client pitching for new and existing business
- Track record of success in a quota-carrying environment
- Ability to grasp and communicate technical concepts and DSP platform-based knowledge
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to act autonomously with limited information
- Willingness to travel occasionally within the region
