Full job description

FreeWheel, a Comcast company, seeks a Yield Planner to optimize global video inventory revenue by creating media plans, forecasting inventory, and supporting sales. Responsibilities include monitoring campaign performance, implementing pricing strategies, building dashboards with Looker and Excel, and conducting KPI analyses. The role requires programmatic video expertise, advanced Excel and Looker skills, strong communication, and a strategic mindset. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred. Location: London.

What you'll do

  • Create comprehensive media plans and inventory forecasts in response to RFPs
  • Ensure proposed campaigns are feasible, profitable, and aligned with available video inventory
  • Monitor daily campaign performance across DIO, Programmatic Guaranteed, Private Marketplaces, and Open Exchange
  • Implement pricing floors and throttling strategies to maximize yield and safeguard margins
  • Build and maintain automated dashboards using Looker and Excel
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses on KPIs such as Fill Rate and eCPM to identify growth opportunities
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects across various disciplines and technical areas

Requirements

  • Solid understanding of the programmatic video landscape including header bidding and SSP mechanics
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, data modeling)
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools, specifically Looker
  • Ability to translate raw data into commercial narratives for Sales
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Methodical approach to troubleshooting delivery issues and optimizing auction environments
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of coursework and experience
