Full job description

FreeWheel, a Comcast company, seeks a Yield Planner to optimize global video inventory revenue by creating media plans, forecasting inventory, and supporting sales. Responsibilities include monitoring campaign performance, implementing pricing strategies, building dashboards with Looker and Excel, and conducting KPI analyses. Requires 2-5 years experience, proficiency in Excel and Looker, understanding of programmatic video including header bidding and SSP, strong communication skills in English, and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

What you'll do

  • Create comprehensive media plans and inventory forecasts in response to RFPs
  • Ensure proposed campaigns are feasible, profitable, and aligned with available video inventory
  • Monitor daily performance across campaign types (DIO, Programmatic Guaranteed, Private Marketplaces, Open Exchange)
  • Implement pricing floors and throttling strategies to maximize yield and safeguard margins
  • Build and maintain automated dashboards using Looker and Excel
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses on KPIs such as Fill Rate and eCPM to identify growth opportunities
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects involving multiple disciplines and technical specificities

Requirements

  • Solid understanding of the programmatic video landscape, including header bidding and SSP mechanics
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, data modeling)
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools, specifically Looker
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Methodical approach to troubleshooting delivery issues and optimizing complex auction environments
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of coursework and experience
