Full job description

The Trade Desk seeks a Workplace Associate in Bellevue, WA to support daily office operations and provide a positive, safe, and productive workplace experience. Responsibilities include managing access cards, reception, food and beverage, procurement, facilities, space planning, shipping/receiving, office culture, vendor management, maintenance issue resolution, employee desk moves, office communications, safety/security meetings, onboarding assistance, event planning, meeting room management, and policy enforcement. Requires 1+ years office experience, strong customer service, communication skills, proactive attitude, MS Office proficiency, and ability to perform physical tasks. This is an onsite full-time role with a salary range of $36,200 to $66,400 USD. What you'll do

  • Act as primary point of contact for office and assist with daily operational workplace requirements including access card management, reception services, food and beverage, procurement, facilities management, space planning, shipping and receiving, office culture and morale, and vendor management
  • Engage with employees at all levels to gauge workplace culture and provide positive employee and guest experience
  • Manage guest and employee building access in coordination with building management
  • Respond promptly to maintenance issues by coordinating with building manager, vendors, and Workplace Manager
  • Perform regular building walk-throughs to ensure cleanliness and safety, and check in with employees
  • Assist with internal employee desk moves and seating changes
  • Craft and disseminate office communications regarding workplace updates, food programs, and culture activities
  • Participate in Safety and Security meetings as needed
  • Assist with employee departures ensuring work areas are clean, supplies returned, paperwork handled, and access cards collected
  • Coordinate weekly lunch and pantry programs
  • Assist with new hire onboarding in collaboration with business leads, Talent Acquisition, People Ops, IT, and Workplace teams
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and committees to organize, plan, budget, and identify vendors for morale events, team meetings, and holiday parties
  • Assist with client and large team meeting room reservations, preparation, catering, and room reset
  • Partner with People Operations to maintain and enforce workplace policies
  • Support workplace and building security policies and systems with Global Real Estate team
  • Collaborate with global Workplace Services colleagues on best practices

Requirements

  • 1+ years of previous experience working in a fast-paced office or professional work environment
  • Experience within tech sector a plus
  • Upbeat, positive attitude with attention to detail
  • Genuine interest in providing outstanding level of service
  • Proactive attitude and strong customer service skills
  • Resilience and creative problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to suggest improvements
  • Able to respond after hours to emergencies and work outside designated hours as needed
  • Full knowledge of MS Office Suite – Word/Excel/PowerPoint
  • Active duties requiring walking, standing, reaching, bending, and crouching
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds
