Full job description

VP, SSP Activation role at Criteo to lead global sales and customer success teams for supply-side business including Commerce Grid activation, curation, and third-party SSP partnerships. Responsibilities include owning commercial results, leading multi-layered teams, developing GTM strategies, driving new revenue channels, and representing the business at senior levels. Requires 10+ years in digital advertising/programmatic with leadership experience, deep SSP ecosystem knowledge, and ability to manage global teams. What you'll do

  • Own the commercial results of the SSP Activation business globally
  • Lead global sales and customer success teams across Americas, EMEA, and APAC
  • Set standards for revenue accountability, pipeline discipline, and deal execution
  • Drive commercial success of on-Grid curation business and expand 3P SSP curation motion
  • Lead and develop a multi-layered team of VPs, Senior Directors, and Directors
  • Identify talent gaps, develop talent, and manage team structure and performance
  • Create a culture of ownership, clarity, and high standards
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategy for Commerce Grid activation
  • Work closely with product, product marketing, and GTM teams to enable sellers
  • Own and refine the narrative for Grid and Criteo Commerce Audiences
  • Lead sales motion for Commerce Audiences activation through PubMatic and Magnite partnerships
  • Build executive-level relationships with SSP counterparts
  • Create and develop curation partnerships with broadcasters, CTV publishers, and key publishers
  • Collaborate with GTM, CS, and Ops teams to scale programs with disciplined revenue tracking
  • Represent the business at senior levels internally and externally
  • Quarterback high-stakes client and agency relationships as executive sponsor
  • Build pipeline of relationships to open new business opportunities

Requirements

  • 10+ years in digital advertising, programmatic, or ad tech with progressively increasing commercial leadership scope
  • Deep familiarity with the SSP/supply-side ecosystem, including DSP relationships, curation, deal ID mechanics, and agency buying dynamics
  • Demonstrated success managing global, multi-regional commercial teams
  • Experience selling or activating CTV supply or commerce/audience data solutions is a strong plus
  • Track record of building new business motions, not just managing existing books
  • Proven commercial leader in the programmatic ecosystem
  • Personal credibility with agency trading desks, programmatic leads, and senior publisher/platform contacts
  • Ability to lead sales motions where the value proposition requires clear and repeated articulation
  • Experience standing up new GTM motions
  • Strong cross-functional partnership skills
  • Direct and decisive leadership style
