Full job description

Vice President, AI Solutions Architect role in Office of the CTO. Lead design and implementation of complex AI and agentic architectures, platform integration strategy, and serve as senior technical voice on strategic client engagements. Responsibilities include designing scalable, secure AI solutions, creating reference architectures, defining integration with platforms like Salesforce, Adobe, Microsoft, AWS, Google Cloud, Databricks, Snowflake; applying AI techniques including LLMs, multi-agent systems, RAG, computer vision, predictive analytics; embedding governance and responsible AI; guiding AI platform evolution; leading prototyping and hackathons; mentoring architects and engineers; advising clients on technology and architecture; supporting sales technical solutioning. Requires 12+ years experience in solution or enterprise architecture or software engineering, including 3+ years with generative AI/LLM systems, proficiency in programming languages (Python, Java, C#, TypeScript/JavaScript), knowledge of cloud-native architectures, API design, event-driven integration, and production monitoring. Preferred experience with managed cloud AI platforms, Adobe Experience Cloud, Salesforce, classical ML, mentoring senior talent, and thought leadership. Full-time, hybrid role based in New York with flexible work arrangements and 30-40% travel. Salary range $163,000 - $263,062. What you'll do

  • Design end-to-end AI and agentic solutions meeting enterprise requirements for scalability, security, reliability, and performance
  • Create reference architectures, patterns, and blueprints for common use cases
  • Define integration approaches, APIs, and MCP connectivity between AI services and platforms
  • Apply AI techniques including LLMs, multi-agent systems, RAG, computer vision, and predictive analytics
  • Embed governance, privacy, and responsible AI requirements into solution designs
  • Guide evolution of AI platform emphasizing modularity, reusability, observability, and security
  • Integrate third-party and partner technologies; build reusable components and templates
  • Establish standards for agent orchestration, evaluation, quality gates, data pipelines, monitoring, and responsible AI
  • Lead prototyping, proofs of concept, and technical hackathons
  • Conduct architectural reviews and mentor solution architects and AI engineers
  • Translate emerging research and platform roadmaps into practical enterprise applications
  • Advise clients on technology selection, architecture decisions, and implementation strategies
  • Run technical discovery to assess current state, identify AI opportunities, and de-risk delivery
  • Communicate with executive and technical audiences; support critical deployment phases
  • Partner with Technology Strategy, Data Science, Security, Cloud, and Practice teams to align AI solutions with enterprise roadmaps and governance
  • Support Sales with technical solutioning, demos, and estimates

Requirements

  • 12+ years of progressive experience in solution architecture, enterprise architecture, software engineering, or technical consulting
  • At least 3 years designing and delivering production generative AI/LLM systems
  • Hands-on experience building agentic systems with modern orchestration frameworks
  • Working knowledge of LLM evaluation and observability practices and tooling
  • Experience with RAG and vector search patterns
  • Strong background in cloud-native architectures and modern engineering practices
  • Ability to translate business goals into scalable, secure architectures
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Python, Java, C#, TypeScript/JavaScript)
  • Understanding of API design, event-driven integration, MCP, and production monitoring/observability
  • Preferred: experience with managed cloud AI and agent platforms
  • Preferred: platform expertise with Adobe Experience Cloud, Salesforce, Braze, Shopify, Marketplacer or similar
  • Preferred: classical ML depth alongside generative AI experience
  • Preferred: experience building technical practices and mentoring senior technical talent
  • Preferred: record of thought leadership (publishing, speaking, open-source contributions)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field or equivalent practical experience
  • Relevant certifications in AI/ML, cloud, or enterprise architecture are a plus
