Full job description

Verve is seeking a Vice President of Sales to lead mid-market sales and launch the Ads Manager platform. The role involves defining and executing go-to-market strategy, collaborating cross-functionally, driving platform adoption, building a sales playbook, managing a sales team, and representing the company at industry events. Candidates must have 8+ years of sales experience, a proven track record with tier 2-3 agencies and mid-market advertisers, experience launching new products, strong leadership and communication skills, proficiency with Salesforce and CRM tools, and willingness to travel up to 25%. The position is full-time, based in New York City with a hybrid work model requiring office presence three days per week. What you'll do

  • Define and execute the go-to-market strategy for Ads Manager
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Product Marketing, Marketing, Ad Operations, Strategy, and Engineering teams
  • Drive Ads Manager adoption by identifying qualified leads and closing new business
  • Build a sales playbook for Ads Manager
  • Build and manage a high-performing sales team
  • Represent Verve at industry conferences and events
  • Contribute to broader marketing initiatives

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in sales
  • Proven track record navigating tier 2-3 independent agencies and mid-market advertisers
  • Experience collaborating with Product teams directly
  • Expertise in launching and scaling a new product
  • Adept at leading high-performing teams while remaining hands-on
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills
  • Highly organized and analytical with ability to prioritize effectively
  • Proficient in using Salesforce and other CRM tools
  • Passionate about industry trends and thought leadership
  • High integrity, professionalism, and a self-starter mindset
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%
