Full job description

Vice President – Accounts & Finance role responsible for leading end-to-end finance function for India operations. Key duties include financial leadership, governance, accounting, taxation, statutory and regulatory compliance, audit management, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and team leadership. Requires Chartered Accountant qualification, 12-18 years of relevant experience, preferably in technology or digital platforms, with strong multi-entity operational exposure and audit leadership. Must have strategic mindset, strong compliance knowledge, and leadership skills.

What you'll do

  • Own the complete finance, accounting, taxation, and reporting function for India operations
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closes
  • Maintain strong internal controls, financial policies, and compliance frameworks
  • Act as the key finance partner to leadership on business performance and decision-making
  • Ensure compliance with Indian GAAP / Ind AS, Companies Act, FEMA, GST, TDS, and income tax regulations
  • Lead statutory audits, internal audits, tax audits, and regulatory reviews
  • Manage relationships with auditors, tax advisors, banks, and regulatory authorities
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning aligned with business goals
  • Provide insights on revenue recognition, cost optimization, margin analysis, and working capital
  • Partner with sales, operations, and product teams on commercial structures and pricing
  • Lead and develop a high-performing finance team across accounting, taxation, AR/AP, and reporting
  • Drive capability building, clear accountability, and succession planning within the team

Requirements

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) mandatory; MBA Finance preferred
  • 12–18 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles
  • Experience in technology, ad-tech, media, or digital platforms preferred
  • Strong exposure to multi-entity, multi-location operations
  • Proven experience leading audits and managing senior stakeholders
  • Strong command over accounting standards, compliance, and controls
  • Strategic mindset with hands-on execution capability
  • Leadership maturity with ability to influence cross-functional teams
  • High integrity, attention to detail, and ownership mindset
