Full job description

Digital Turbine seeks a Sales Director for the Vertical Sales Team focused on App First, Finance, Gaming, and Travel verticals. The role involves new revenue generation via Agencies and Clients, selling Managed, Programmatic, and Mobile On-Device advertising. Candidates must have 5+ years of senior sales experience with a strong track record in pipeline development, meeting quotas, and client relationships in the mobile ecosystem. Responsibilities include building pipelines, mastering product knowledge, acquiring new clients, meeting revenue targets, coordinating cross-functional teams, and contributing to product roadmap improvements. The position is hybrid and local to New York. Salary range is $225,000-$300,000 OTE plus benefits including stock options, unlimited PTO, and performance bonuses.

What you'll do

  • Build a pipeline and close new business with the largest app platforms
  • Develop mastery of Digital Turbine’s pitch, products, and the app advertising industry
  • Identify, target, and acquire new clients via Brand and Agency relationships
  • Drive new revenue and meet quarterly revenue targets
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams from Sales, Client Services, and Technical Account Management
  • Learn client’s business and match with Digital Turbine solutions for recommendations
  • Gather and share information for product roadmap improvements
  • Craft proposals showcasing analytical rigor and strategic sales abilities
  • Work with internal platform and supply stakeholders to meet customer needs

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales experience with a strong track record of pipeline development and meeting sales quotas
  • Strong client relationships and understanding of the User Acquisition, Branding, and Mobile ecosystem
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to articulate ideas that create material value for customers
  • Self-starter with energy and drive
  • Disciplined and organized to manage pipeline and sales enablement tools
  • Good knowledge of mobile applications, advertising, and measurement
  • Learner mindset with demonstrated skill development
  • Comfortable selling into large matrixed organizations
  • Existing network or industry experience in ad tech or mobile apps preferred
  • Works well in a team and fast-paced collaborative environment
