Full job description

The UX Researcher will independently lead user research studies from question definition through to actionable recommendations, using qualitative and quantitative methods. Responsibilities include planning and moderating research sessions, analyzing data, maintaining a research repository, and communicating findings to product, engineering, and leadership teams. The role requires 3-5 years of UX research experience, fluency in multiple research methodologies, strong facilitation and communication skills, experience with AI-assisted research tools, and knowledge of agile product development. A degree in a related behavioral discipline or equivalent experience is required. The position is full-time based in Irving, Texas, with a salary range of $73,500 to $136,500 annually. What you'll do

  • Own research studies end-to-end: define questions, recommend methodology, recruit participants, facilitate sessions, synthesize findings, deliver recommendations
  • Assess research challenges and advocate for appropriate methods
  • Plan and moderate qualitative research sessions with warmth and confidence
  • Design and analyze quantitative studies and integrate findings with qualitative insights
  • Use user research tools to accelerate research operations while applying human judgment
  • Build and maintain a shared research repository
  • Communicate findings to cross-functional stakeholders through structured presentations
  • Partner with Product Designers and Product Managers throughout product lifecycle
  • Contribute to a user-centered culture by running research office hours and sharing findings
  • Stay current with evolving research tools, AI workflows, and methodologies

Requirements

  • Three to five years of hands-on UX research experience on digital products
  • Portfolio demonstrating studies owned from question to recommendation
  • Fluency in qualitative methods (in-depth interviews, usability testing, contextual inquiry, diary studies)
  • Fluency in quantitative methods (surveys, card sorts, tree tests, product analytics review)
  • Confident facilitation and presentation skills
  • Ability to assess research questions and recommend appropriate methods
  • Experience using AI tools to accelerate synthesis and operational tasks
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of digital product development and agile cycles
  • Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Psychology, Anthropology, or related field or equivalent experience
  • Accessible portfolio or case studies showing research impact
