Smartly is seeking a User Guidance Lead to manage a small team and lead the strategy and execution of product knowledge delivery. The role involves evolving product documentation beyond traditional formats to support AI-powered experiences, APIs, and in-product guidance. Responsibilities include managing the Knowledge Base, embedding User Guidance in product development, expanding content formats, using analytics to improve guidance, and collaborating with Product, Engineering, Design, Support, Customer Success, Data, and AI teams. Candidates must have strong experience in technical writing or knowledge management in SaaS, leadership experience, excellent English, understanding of information architecture, and ability to work hands-on and strategically. The role requires working onsite in Helsinki three days per week and interest in AI technologies affecting product documentation.
