Full job description

Senior UI Designer role requiring 5+ years experience and a bachelor's degree in Graphic or Interaction Design. Responsibilities include designing email, web, and app interfaces from concept to production, maintaining design systems, collaborating with developers using Adobe Experience Manager, conducting user research, and applying UX principles. Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and experience with responsive design and component libraries required. Motion design skills using RIVE or AfterEffects and agile environment experience are assets. Hybrid work model based in Lisbon with 1 day per week in office. What you'll do

  • Design for email, web, and app from concept to production-ready hand-off
  • Work within and help maintain design system, style guides, and UI pattern libraries
  • Collaborate with AEM authors and developers to select components and provide specifications
  • Assist in user research and usability testing to improve user experience
  • Develop innovative design concepts and strategies aligned with product vision
  • Stay updated with latest design trends, tools, and technologies including AI
  • Participate in design reviews and incorporate stakeholder feedback
  • Deliver annotations explaining design decisions for AEM authors
  • Uphold client's brand voice and typographic discipline

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in UI design, preferably in a senior role
  • Experience with complex Design Systems
  • Strong portfolio showcasing design expertise across web, mobile, and email/campaign work
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager or similar component-based authoring environments
  • Solid understanding of UX principles and their relation to UI design
  • Experience with responsive and adaptive design across breakpoints
  • Experience designing within an established design system and component library
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Knowledge of interface animation, digital branding, and illustration
  • Experience or desire to learn motion design for UI using tools like RIVE or AfterEffects
  • Experience working in an agile project environment
  • Sharp editorial and copy sensibility for crafting headlines, CTAs, and microcopy
