Accounting Technician role in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks including accounts payable and receivable management, vendor and client onboarding, invoice processing, payment runs, billing, credit card reconciliation, cash flow monitoring, and dispute resolution. Support month-end close activities such as journal entries, account reconciliations, government remittances, grant claims, payroll preparation, and year-end financial statement preparation. Requires 3-5 years experience in bookkeeping or accounting technician role, proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel, bilingual in French and English, and familiarity with Canadian accounting standards (ASPE/NCECF). Experience in multi-entity and multi-currency environments is a plus.

Assist with new client onboarding (finance side) and new vendor setup
Process and track vendor invoices and expense submissions across multiple entities (CAD, USD)

Manage the weekly Accounts Payable payment run and maintain the vendor master list

Requirements
3–5 years in a bookkeeping or accounting technician role
Strong hands-on experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Familiarity with Canadian accounting standards (ASPE/NCECF)
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
Microsoft Excel skills
Bilingual in French and English (written and spoken)
Strong attention to detail
Ability to manage competing priorities
Comfortable working with minimal supervision
