Full job description

Technical Platform Operations Specialist responsible for operational liaison duties ensuring performance of Viant’s Demand Side Platform. Role involves bridging internal teams (Operations, Product, Engineering) and external partners to maintain operational continuity, troubleshoot, and support platform stability. Requires proactive problem-solving, communication, and task leadership. Responsibilities include managing integrations, certifications, second-level QA, and driving cross-functional projects. Requires 1+ years experience in ad operations or related role, familiarity with ad-serving or programmatic platforms, strong communication skills, ability to learn new technologies, working knowledge of HTML/JavaScript, and a Bachelor's degree. Benefits include fully paid health insurance, paid parental leave, and unlimited PTO. Position is full-time, hybrid, located in Irvine, California. Salary range $60,000 - $71,000.

What you'll do

  • Serve as the connective point between internal teams (Ad Operations, Product, Engineering) and external partners
  • Drive resolution of technical issues and ensure reliability of the DSP platform
  • Execute and manage publisher integrations and 3rd-party partner certifications
  • Provide second-level QA and platform support for escalated issues
  • Drive cross-functional projects to enhance platform stability, workflows, and campaign execution quality
  • Translate technical findings into clear, actionable feedback for technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in ad operations, technical account management, or a related role
  • Familiarity with at least one ad-serving or programmatic advertising platform
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to document complex systems and workflows
  • Proven ability to adopt and navigate new technologies quickly
  • Working knowledge of HTML/JavaScript
  • Bachelor's degree
