Full job description

TechOps Engineer role supporting Equativ’s growth in APAC & MENA by working with supply and demand clients and internal teams. Responsibilities include onboarding and growing client engagement, providing pre/post-sales technical assistance, troubleshooting programmatic issues, liaising with Product and Analytics teams, improving operational processes, identifying revenue opportunities, providing training, and working autonomously. Requires 4+ years technical experience preferably in Ad Tech, knowledge of JSON, JavaScript, oRTB, APIs, Adservers, programmatic buying/selling, IAB standards, and data tools like Snowflake, SQL, Tableau, GDS. OTT/CTV knowledge is a plus. Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving skills, and entrepreneurial mindset needed.

What you'll do

  • Onboard, maintain, and grow client and prospect engagement to maximize customer journey, attending major meetings / QBRs / events, and be their trusted advisor
  • Responsible for the growth and success of strategic Publisher accounts in APAC & MENA
  • Provide pre and post-sales technical assistance and become a Subject-Matter Expert to support clients in their technological choices
  • Provide problem solving and troubleshooting assistance/investigations to publishers and internal teams related to issues at any stage of the programmatic chain
  • Liaise with the Product, Analytics, Quality, and other teams to meet client’s needs
  • Identify ways to improve the operational effectiveness of current processes and propose solutions to elevate efficiency
  • Proactively identify revenue opportunities and take ownership to partner with relevant stakeholders
  • Share knowledge by assessing, coordinating, and providing trainings
  • Work on projects with a high degree of autonomy and flexibility

Requirements

  • Bachelor / Master Degree in Technology or similar technical field of study
  • 4+ years of experience in a Technical role, preferably Ad Tech
  • Experience with ad tech related technologies (JSON, JS, oRTB, APIs, etc.) or technical solutions consulting
  • Knowledge of Adservers & Programmatic Buying and Selling is a plus
  • Familiarity with IAB standards like openRTB, Ads.txt, Supply Chain Object is a plus
  • Analytical skills, passion for data crunching/analysis
  • Experience with data tools and solutions (e.g. Snowflake, SQL, APIs, Tableau, GDS) is a plus
  • OTT/CTV knowledge is a strong plus
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and good follow-through
  • Problem-solver and multitasker who remains cool under pressure
  • Ability to work autonomously without hand-holding
