Full job description

Growth Technical Account Manager role supporting customer activation, technical issue troubleshooting, and client relationship management. Requires 2+ years in technical account or client-facing roles, proficiency in JavaScript, SQL, HTML, APIs, SDKs, and experience with web traffic analysis and ad serving tags. Responsibilities include acting as main technical contact, providing technical insights internally, leading training, and escalating issues as needed. Strong communication and critical thinking skills required. Full-time, hybrid role based in Chicago, IL. Salary range $67,200 to $115,200 annually. Benefits include paid time off, health insurance, 401k with matching, and bonus eligibility.

What you'll do

  • Act as main technical point of contact for new customer activation and issue resolution
  • Troubleshoot technical issues quickly and provide solutions
  • Escalate issues to tier 2 support and/or product teams when necessary
  • Provide in-depth updates and insights on clients from a technology perspective to internal departments
  • Work closely with Product, Engineering, Product Marketing, Legal, Pricing, Technical Support teams
  • Provide high touch consultative technical services
  • Lead training sessions and attend office hours for agency and brand-direct customers

Requirements

  • 2+ years working in a technical account/relationship management/client-facing role
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
  • Proficiency in JS, SQL, HTML, and data analysis
  • Previous experience with web traffic analysis tools and ad serving tags
  • Previous experience working with APIs and SDKs
  • Critical thinking and ability to think outside of the box
  • Experience working with 3rd party advertising technology companies
  • Experience working with publishers and publisher ad servers
  • Knowledge of the ad tech ecosystem, its players, and how it works
  • Strong written, verbal, and listening communication skills
  • Self-starter with ability to manage time and multiple competing priorities
  • Ability to synthesize technical concepts/analysis in client meetings
